Coffee Story

Producers and good friends, Kenneth Madrigal and Cristian Vargas, founded Biocafe Oro Tarrazu Micromill in 2003. The mill is located in Tarrazu, Costa Rica, at an altitude of 1500 MASL, and La Concepcion is one of the many farms owned by the Madrigal Vargas family.

The Tarrazu region is well known in Costa Rica and the specialty coffee scene with its long history in coffee production. Coffee farms span over thousands of hectares in this region and is the main driver of the local economy.

Expect an aromatic cup that is sweet and crisp with juicy notes of nectarine, red apple, and grape. We love this coffee for its rose and wine-like flavours too.
